Calendar Software Improvements

Recently, we made some good changes to our Calendar system known affectionately around here as the Super Ajax Calendar.  Per a conversation yesterday I had with a client about their transcript turn-around time, I've implemented several global changes within the system.  This is the advantage, as I see it, to having 100% custom calendar software.  I can hear a great suggestion for an improvement directly  from the horse's mouth -- a client, I mean -- and have the flexibility and ability to implement those changes swiftly.

Calendar Improvements
1.  The Client Preferences area of any account now spells out explicitly their needs and wishes.  These preferences can be anything from the turn-around policy, billing requirements, production notes, or other.  Now all Calendar staff will be reminded of the client's preferences each and every time one of their jobs comes on calendar.

2.  The day before each job we send out an email to each reporter giving them the 411.  This email now contains any pertinent client preferences specifically about turn-around policy or other items.  The email going to the reporter looks something like this:

All these kinds of additions to our system make it fun and exciting to be a small business.  I know it's a small change, but they add up to hopefully being a good court reporting service that our customers will come back to year after year.
