Autism Awareness Month 2015

Hello, Everybody!

This is just a quick blog about a non-work related item that affects us over here at Todd Olivas & Associates. Last December, John Paul Castro (our VP of Client Relations) got married to a wonderful bride, Natalie. Natalie is an elementary school teacher specializing in special needs children at Geddes Elementary in the Baldwin Park Unified School District. Specifically, she works with kids who are formally diagnosed with Autism.

It happens to be Autism Awareness Month. So I thought what better time than now to help raise awareness about this condition and figure out how I can help out a little. I know it's easy to put off these types of causes because there are so many good things to support in life, but I guess for me things get personal when I see how Natalie has made Autistic kids her life's mission. But budgets being what they are in the public school system, her's is not an easy task. In that regard, Natalie has told me that her classroom would benefit HIGHLY from having some greater technology tools and software. So I've decided to donate a portion of the net proceeds from each deposition that is scheduled with Todd Olivas & Associates during April directly to her classroom.

If you feel inspired to learn more about this issue or even make a donation yourself, please check out http://www.autism-society.org/ and Natalie's classroom flyer: click here

Thank you for everything you do as our client! I appreciate each and every one of you.
