I am the owner of a court reporting agency for the past 43 years. In Pennsylvania, we are required to keep our notes for a period of 7 years, but we have offices nationwide and that varies by state. Each indiviual state has its own requiresments. I think we should have a nationwide directory as to how long each state`s requirements are.

I agree 100% with Lyn Rubenstein. I have moved a few times to different states during my career as a court reporter and it has become very confusing and the information is not always easy to find. A national directory would be wonderful.
