Get Well Soon, Bob

My thoughts and prayers go out to Robert Bob Archibald of M & M Court Reporters who suffered a bad car accident on his way to work early this year.

Why would I write about one of my competitors?
Because people are people. And business is just business...

Plus, I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Bob and M & M Court Reporters because it was through them that I learned about the profession of court reporting. It was 1991 and I worked in the mail room at M & M. I never even knew what a court reporter was before that time. M & M was a great court reporting agency. They were huge and had been around for decades. I am so fortunate to have been raised up in such a stellar environment.

As a nosy mail room worker, I saw the kind of money the court reporters were making, so I dutifully signed up for court reporting school.

Now many years later, I am contentedly carving out my dream of owning a court reporting agency of my own. And I would never be here without the inspiration and the unique personality of Bob Archibald.
