I’m Packing My Bags…Sacramento Is Calling… Again.
A few months ago I got an email from David Brown, the Executive Officer of the Court Reporters Board basically asking if I'd come to Sacramento to contribute to the Board via committee or test construction participation. At that time I tried to coordinate a meeting with Mr. Brown because I was heading up to Sacramento to speak anyway, but due to scheduling constraints... time did not permit.
Now it looks like the honor is being extended to me again. I just got an email yesterday from the Board asking me to participate in the CSR Exam Construction Workshop or the CSR Exam Passing Score Workshop in August. I made a cursory glance at my schedule for open time slots for things like Incredible Opportunities To Serve My Profession And Give Back and lo and behold.... YEP there's room on there.
So when Sacramento calls ... I pack my bags and come a runnin'.
