Why on earth should I join the Deposition Reporters Association (DRA)?
Unlike official reporters who may join a union to provide them with some degree of job security and who are provided additional protection as employees of the state, freelance reporters must turn to professional state organizations for this protection. The only organization in California whose sole focus in protecting the interests and rights of freelance court reporters is the Deposition Reporters Association.
